We are ATL neighbors uniting for gun safety
We are a local, nonpartisan grassroots movement, uniting our neighbors in ATL to advocate for common-sense gun policies to help prevent gun violence and keep our communities safe.
Gun deaths and injuries cost Georgia $23.9 billion each year, of which $597.8 million is paid by taxpayers at a rate of $2,249 per resident per year
Georgia ranks #47 in the country for gun safety and has the 8th highest rate of gun homicides and gun assaults in the country.
Firearms are the leading cause of death for Georgia’s children and teens.
Every year, 932 people in Georgia die by gun suicide, and an additional 64 are wounded by gun suicide attempts.
We are working in partnership with local, state-wide, and national partners to establish one, clear voice in support of gun safety.
Together, we will:
Simplify the steps needed to contact your local lawmakers and advocate for gun safety
Unite our neighbors and local gun reform groups as an inclusive community to create a consistent action plan
Focus our voting power on common-sense gun policy
We are hyper-focused on driving nonpartisan common-sense action NOW to impact real change in our city, state, and nation.
We're requesting a special session of Georgia legislature to reform gun policy around the following issues:
Universal background checks with no loopholes
Extreme risk laws
Safe gun storage requirements
Regulate assault weapons
